The unit itself gets pretty hot, but with a "normal"-sized ceramic mug, it did not affect my coffee or tea's temerature in the slightest. Might have some effect if you use a metal mug, but I'm not sure.

Pros: price is good, easy to use, have the added advantage of being a USB hub also.
Cons: wish it comes with a larger diameter holder, as my usual 8oz mug is just a bit too big to rest inside the holder; found a smaller mug to try it; it barely kept the bottom half inch liquid inside the mug warm; whereas the liquid's mid to top layer reached only room temperature; needed to plug it into the main PC's USB port; I tried to plug it onto a USB hub; it drew so much power from the hub that my other USB-connected devices kept getting disconnected;
Maybe the 2nd generation of this product, if any, will work better. Was this review helpful?

Very easy to use just plug & play and its nice and small for my desk.
I think is a good deal and nice to have or just a gift for my boss :) So, I don't have to keep getting the new hot tea when it's get cold.

Nice price for Coffee warmer + 4 Port USB!
The unit is not bad and I use with my Tea Cup in the office.
This new and its my 1st time to see and own these cool stuffs.
I might get one for my wife this weekend.
